Fryeburg Fair Pics

Replica of a Forest Fire Tower. This would normally be on top of a high hill or mountain. Here it is used for education with old equipment and a Ranger talking of life in the fire towers in the past. All the towers in Maine are now manned by volunteers. I would love to have this for myself. It is new this past year. I took the rest of the pics of the fairground from here. Fryeburg Fair is the largest and last fair in the state.

We have those fire towers in the country area's.. when I was a kid I use to love climbing up to the top but ours are way up in the sky with hundreds of steps. I'd never be able to climb to the top of one anymore.
Like Grace said, it would make a lovely home.
